What is Partnership?
At Arise Church “Partnership” is how we refer to our church membership process. In it we become a covenant community where members support each other, and commit to the care and guidance each person needs to strengthen their faith. We would define Partnership as an intimate fellowship between God and His people for His purpose.
We find Partnership in places like Philippians 1:3-5: "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
Just as Paul was joyful in his gospel Partnership with the church in Philippi, we desire the same for partners at Arise Church. Partnership portrays the beauty of our God’s household, and provides structure for our family. As a partner you are committing yourself to other believers at Arise Church. It involves a deep level of relationship with one another. Partnership streamlines pastoral care as the shepherding team prays regularly for, checks in with, and establishes direct lines of contact for guidance and care with the members of Arise.
Partnership Process
Considering becoming an Arise Church Partner? There are three steps before becoming a Arise Church Partner:
Step 1 - Partnership Class
We offer an orientation that covers our theology, our core beliefs and outlines what it means to be a Partner at Arise Church. We want everyone to know exactly what is expected before making a decision to be a Partner at Arise Church.
You may download a Partnership Packet here at any time in anticipation of our next class.

Step 2 - Partner Interviews
We want our new partners to know our leaders and desire that our leaders know each partner of Arise Church. Once you complete the class we will arrange a meeting with one or more of our leaders and a member of the elder team. During this time the leaders will get to know you better, listen to your testimony about faith in Jesus and how He has gifted you to build up His Church. We’ll also work to help you get connected and seek to answer any questions.
Step 3 - Sign the Covenant
After completing the Partnership Class and your Partnership Interview, the last step is to sign the Partnership Covenant. The leader will explain the covenant and answer any questions during your interview. After signing the covenant you are recommended to the Elder team and considered for Partnership with Arise Church.
