No Gatherings Sunday 12/29/2024
Our custom is to participate in a full church Sabbath between Christmas and the New Year.
While we are not gathering, we encourage everyone to find ways to spend time together with your own families and members of our Arise family in celebration of the birth of Christ and the New Year.
We're excited to bring hope and cheer to families again this year through our 5th Annual Toy Drive. As always we need your help!
Sign up to register you and your family to volunteer for AM and/or PM shifts on the day of the event. If you would like information re: picking up and sorting toys and gifts leading up to the event, please contact jamie@ariseventura.com
You're invited to join us for Arise Ventura's 5 Year Anniversary. It is our hope that members, friends, family, co-laborers and collaborators alike will be present to celebrate the work and contributions we’ve all made together thus far.
There will be a short ceremony followed by food and activities.

A new series where together we'll discover and discuss PROMISES: Our Great Covenant-Keeping God. Studying God’s great covenants revealed in Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus increases our love, trust, and confidence in Him, motivating us to live for His Kingdom with greater boldness.
Our February Prayer Walk is quickly approaching.
We will plan to spend time in Corporate Prayer together at the Freedom House before heading out to canvas the community.

You're invited to come and help us bring the good news to these children and families monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 5-6pm.

You're invited to join the Arise fam for a Christmas Eve service at The Freedom House.
We'll enjoy Breakfast together and celebrate the birth of Christ with singing and the message of God's love.
Come hear the real story of Jesus and help us throw a party celebrating Jesus' birth!

This year we will be doing Stellar VBS. It’s a space theme and the focus point is to “Shine Jesus’ Light”.

ReGroup is our Summer Gospel Community Pause - we are intentionally pausing Gospel Communities for Summer, calling the Arise Fam together for a time of refilling.

EASTER WITH ARISE GATHERING
We are so excited to worship and celebrate our Risen King this Easter!
We'll have some Arise Kids sharing poetry, special music, and a message on Greater Love.
Some of our leaders will be cooking a hot breakfast for everyone to enjoy! If you can come early to help setup and serve, no need to let us know, just plan on arriving at 9:15!
Help us fill 800 Easter Eggs!
We'd love to have you and your family join us from 6-8pm as we end our fast together sharing dinner and stories.

Fasting: is something we do to deepen our communion with God. Fasting helps us practice saying "no" to our desires and "yes" to Jesus and the will of God.
Lent: commemorates Jesus’s death and burial before celebrating His resurrection. One of the central traditions of Lent is fasting, the discipline of abstaining from specific foods or something you enjoy for a set amount of time.
When: February 22-April 8
How to Participate:
Physically refrain from food(s) and/or forms of entertainment, that you choose, for spiritual purposes.
Pray
for spiritual renewal in your soul and church
for revival in our city and nation
for courage to share the gospel more
for lives, families, marriages, etc to be transformed
for resources to impact more people
etc.
Put on a friendly costume and join us for games, food, music, & more! 🎃 🍂
GC’s meet the 2nd through 5th Sundays in East Ventura, West Ventura, and Oxnard. A typical GC includes a casual meal and getting to know others, sharing in the Lord’s supper, Scripture and discussion, and prayer for one another. Email info@ariseventura.com for more information.
