Why We Give
The Scriptures instruct God’s people to give regularly, generously and sacrificially in response to all that He has given us—all as part of our worship of Him. At the heart of giving is generosity - a desire to bless others as God has blessed us. This act of obedience tuns our hearts - that so easily find security in what we have - to God’s in dependance and trust, which ultimately makes us more like Christ.
In this form of worship, God reminds us that He has given us everything we have and can be counted on to meet every need we will ever have in the future. In our giving, we commit to seeing the local and global church thrive, desiring and praying for people grow in their personal relationships with Jesus Christ. Through our giving, the Church is positioned to accomplish God’s plan, through Christ, to reconcile the world to Himself. In our giving, we aid in advancing the Gospel as the Lord allows.
