Welcome To Arise Kids: Home Edition!
Note to parents
These are crazy times, aren't they? While we didn't anticipate taking a break from the New City Catechism, we're excited about this adventure into the book of Exodus. Our prayer is that this slow season will bring you closer to God and one another as you study this story of His steadfast love together.
This ancient story has a lot to teach us! It tells us about the relationship between God and his people. It helps us understand big ideas like who God is and why the Ten Commandments are important. We see themes of redemption, covenant, God's presence, and more as the story unfolds. Because God created people in his own image, he knows us inside and out! He knows the best way for us to live and that's what the book of Exodus can teach us if we pay close attention!
Along the way, we'll be using the Kids Read Truth Exodus cards (which should arrive at your home very soon!) as well as the weekly guides you can download online. These will help us to understand the big story and unpack the details along the way. We hope you find these resources helpful, and remember that we are here to support you every step of the way!
